Thanks for this. I'm at the point where I only want to get my vocab through good context (more then just single premade sentences), so I'm just using my core2k26 deck to unsuspend from. I want to learn 20+ words a day and I don't always have time to go over material to get my quota -> but I'm down to get nouns and the like without context so this sites great for helping me get really useful stuff!

Awesome!! I feel smarter already just by looking at it, spotted lots of mistakes I'd have made by using improper vocabulary for naming different stuff.

Guess it only proves I need to work a little bit on quality of my vocab deck after I finish adding JLPT2. Adding some pictures, modifying some meanings and slowly going J-J on easier items wouldn't hurt.

Thanks a lot Teskal.
I'm the creator of the website. I really need to thank you for recommend it to so many friends here.
I have written a free ebook for everyone to download. If you are interested, please go to http://www.4shared.com/document/keayjXrn...words.html and download it yourself.
It's a 11Mb monster because of the audio file. So the download will take a while. And you need to use PDF reader 9 to open it.

Here's another picture dictionary; it's a culture dictionary of Japan with about seven hundred entries made by a translator called Nakayama Yukio. It was posted on the Internet until a few years ago (2006).

I added a few things and made it into an Anki file as many people use that software. I zipped the file to reduce it in size, but it's still about 11MB. Download.
