Hi, I'm posting this quite out of the blue, but there's this website I found a while ago (even made a thread about it http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=2123&page=1) called Tatoeba (http://tatoeba.org/eng/home). It's about building a corpus of multilingual sentences, that is sentences translated into multiple languages. The website has greatly improved since I found it and it's now very easy to register and start translating sentences. The point of the website is not really to SRS the sentences or anything, (though you could do that probably). The point is just to contribute and help create this corpus. You can (will) learn things though by entering/translating sentences. Anybody who knows at least two languages can get started by translating from one to the other.

for SRS, it's possible as list you create in tatoeba can be exported in a "anki" friendly format (though for the moment anki deck to tatoeba is not possible)

btw if you know (or yourself (those who read this)) someone which have a good mic and ready to record sentences ,a friend of us of an other project has developped a very badass software to record without any effort hundreds of sentences, let us know

This looks like an amazing resource. Are there any statistics viewable on the website? For example number of sentences pairs in different languages.

yep, you're right I was planning to add a statistic page, for the moment
the stat you can access to is the number of sentences in each languages (in the home page, on the right you have the top 5 languages, and if you click on the "show all" button you will see number of sentences in each languages )
