How to become better at transcribing 日本語

#1
Any software, sites, etc about this type of thing? Not the kanji I'm worried about in this one but just need something from which I can practice with a lot.

You could use the Dictation application from smart.fm

Couldn't you make cards with Subs2srs then try to transcribe the sentences by typing in the answer and see if it matches up?

I started doing that last summer, but abandoned it as something I can worry about later. Still, it does help with typing speed and seeing how well what you hear meshes with what you type.

yea but the thing is, just need something to pratice. A lot of the words on smart.fm I already know well.
The plus is that it has audio which is good. But I gotta find out if there is a transcribing type softwares for japanese. I know there is English-typing type software's. Guess gotta search there and then go on from there.

Hmm, not a bad idea. I gotta get Subs2srs up and running soon then.

I remember seeing people who type up news. They type so fast, like it's nothing. Although they were japanese natives, so it makes sense.
