I dont generally listen to music like that, but I must say it's now gained a permanant spot on my hard-drive. Beautiful song

I suggest anything by Chiaki Naomi. There are a number of videos on youtube which are subtitled in Japanese. She has the type of voice that appears, if we are lucky, once a decade. For starters, I'd suggest "House of the Rising Sun" which she sings in Japanese. Unfortunately she stopped performing about 20 years ago. After I found her, I never intentionally listened to Ayumi Hamasaki again. But that's just me.
