Interesting. You can probably appreciate the ITARs headaches. So...a NASA martial arts expert - isn't that every boy's ultimate dream?!
Livin' the dream! But ugh on the ITAR stuff. I should have joined the CIA instead--but I hear they have just as much paperwork, is that true?

Maybe the French Foreign Legion... it's not too late. Vive La France!

Sounds like a plan! See you there!

"The purpose of the Legion was to remove disruptive elements from society and put them to use" ... "the majority in the Legion's ranks were either those transient souls in need of escape and a regular wage, or refugees from countries undergoing crises." ... "the Legion had a reputation for attracting criminals on the run"

(oh, the joys of selective quoting)

BTW I was involved in commercial use only - but it still gets caught in the export regulations. FFL sounds like less paperwork, more action!

But back to TV dramas: ;-)
I had watched a few of the dramas recommended here. I started noticing the same small group of actors kept reappearing. Is this typical? The shows started to merge in my mind. (don't really know any names but, for eg, that unmarried architect = stay at home dad guy.)
