Nowadays, a lot of western porn is just as much about sleaze and degradation as rape and ぶっかけ themes, and a whole lot more one-dimensional. It's hard to take any sort of moral high ground with that as your model of what porn "should be".

On a side note, I think ぶっかけ is more than just a niche fetish in Japan. It's been put on a scale with turd porn, and although I don't know anything about the popularity of those videos, I very much doubt they feature top actresses and best-selling videos (googling 'AV ベストセールス' tells me ドリーム学園7 won 大賞 ベストセールス賞受賞作品 in 2003).

It's kind of like the situation with KKK. Do I hold with their ideas? hell no. I'm not even white. Do I think it should be illegalized and they should be put in prison? No again. Unless they become a real threat to the general public, they have the right to say whatever they want to say, and do whatever legal they want to do. Capturing a guy and putting him in prison as a sexual predator for possessing a CARTOON kinda gives me a feeling similar to the one I get when I see how western magazines are censored in Iran for "sexually offensive" contents.

Look, its kind of funny that we are debating the points of pornography, but as much as this western porn stereotype exists you have to admit the breadth of pornography in the west outstretches a singular country, Japan.

And yes, its pretty bad. I wouldn't feel this way if all Japanese pornography was in fact, not about complete female submission, squealing, a gimmick, and to top it off censoring.


Sometimes I just dont understand the grand lengths posters here go to give the subjective view of Japan a free pass, that any comment towards the country can be detracted by the world view of diversity.
