Where does you nickname come from?

I grew up with a group of friends, since 6 years old or so together. And somehow we started to develop our own vocabulary to the point that people outside the group may become clueless about what we were talking about.
Many times words were just fun to hear with no specific meaning like "don't be so trusmis" became "you are an absolute trusmis" became "are you a trusmis or no?" with the meaning you are from our group or not.
So eventually trusmis is whoever of my group of friends. Me too and we use it everywhere. So, you can search on Internet for trusmis, and everyone of those you'll find is me or someone I know Big Grin My programs will always have a trusmis variable and my computer a trusmis user.
Many times I reach a website, create a new trusmis account and it is taken. Then I create a mumi (other of those words) account and the first thing to do is become friend of trusmis, whoever he may be!

Dankoochoo is a character I made for the ManlyMens OCT on deviantArt. I chose him because one attribute I gave him was his huge proficiency with Kanji.

Mine's my old user id from university; I got kind of used to it and it has the advantage that it's virtually never already been taken :-)

I've never had a problem with Raschaverak either Smile I guess people in general are not into science-fiction novels that much Smile

pm215, I had wondered what the significance of '2:15 pm' might be :p

Portage LaLoche or the Methye Portage was the longest portage that travelers had to haul their canoes over to get to the North West of Canada.

I thought Japanese would be a "long haul" endeavour. It is.

Oddly enough, that didn't pull much up. I must be more security conscious than I thought Big Grin - the christianguitar forum link is a post by me from several years ago, and then there's the obvious reference to this thread, but that's all. I would have at least expected it to pull up my facebook page. I coulda sworn I had all those keywords in there.

I am confused as to how guitars read holy scripture. They have no eyes! They also cannot see with their hearts. I am very confused by this new generation of guitars.

Mine is just last name letters and first name letters. And a number. I'm too lazy to use something else. Though I will, on occasion, let people assume that I'm just really into the hip-hop scene.

Just add "ist" to the end of the word "guitar", and that'll clear right up for you.

I bet Line 6 is currently trying to develop a guitar that can read.

I'm pretty sure my bass can see with its heart.

Anyway. Handle isn't my usual one, but it is about how many times I expected it to take to get through RTK and the followup basics. So far I'm well under count.

Mines super dumb - yeah, last name + さん.....

I had learned basically zero Japanese when I signed up here. When I realized that no one calls them self さん I wanted to change it.... but I couldn't. However I guess it works, I never refer to myself in the first person LOL. And it kind grew on me.

I choose the kanji for "easy" because I like the shapes, and japanese for me is anything but.
