Here's some examples

キツネの嫁入り

"Fox wedding" - Or when it rains while it is still sunny.

Just learned it a few minutes ago when I was trying to talk about the weird weather.

While we're at it
嫁入り
It's not that funny of a meaning, but the way the kanji are set up makes me chuckle.

Probably has ties to Shintoism. Shintoism has been a part of Japan since... Japan.

This one is from Code Blue Season 2 - Episode 4 - 12 minutes 34 seconds.

赤ちゃんポスト (Baby Post) = place for incapable parents to abandon their baby

In the episode, one of the patients is a 20-year girl who got pregnant (and her parents disowned her). She's basically a runaway (6 months pregnant) who got seriously injured in an accident. She wanted to know if the hospital had a baby post. She doesn't want to have the baby since it's too much of a burden.

I had no idea that hospitals in Japan have places where you can dump babies that you want to abandon.

Babypost started around 2007 when I was an exchange student. It sounds bad, but it's an improvement over people throwing their unwanted babies into dumpsters etc.

If only the pill wasn't so taboo here...

I don't have any dumpster babies that I'm aware of Tongue

Hopefully you're just joking and don't expect others to be no-sex-until-marriage religious cultists though.

I believe kissing shouldn't be until marriage.

Maybe you should see this educational film about purity, Pamela's Prayer.

That girl is such a skank - she actually hugged a man and she wasn't married to him!

Speaking of 逆ギレ, there's 逆ナン, which is ナンパ when girls do it.

This, seriously.
My condom broke once, so my gf had to go pay 70 bucks to get 1 stupid pill. She also had to listen to a doctor explain the risks of unprotected sex even though we used protection.
That pill was cheap too, I had to search all over to find a pill under 100 dollars
Uggh, Japan is retarded in so many ways

文字化け - もじばけ Is a very useful word. You know when your characters turn into gibberish font on the computer? It's 文字化け

While it sounds awesome, I can't help but think this probably will have serious long-term issues

Yeah. Not only are pills VERY expensive in Japan, you actually have to go to a doctor to get them, makes it impossible to have your girlfriend start taking it.

I thought most Japanese people were indifferent to abortion and the pill.
