Failure to Add

#1
I think we are getting into Simpsons-like territory when it comes to adding new threads. If it is any consolation, this is like the second one I've added. I'm sorry if this topic has been covered already.

Anyhow, I want to know if any of you are as "guilty" as I am of not adding to your SRS vocabulary items you look up. I actually don't even have a vocab deck yet.

Is it a good idea to always add (or write down to add later) words you look up? Are there circumstances where it's okay to not add words you've looked up? Should I feel guilty about not adding items I've looked up?

There's a ton of words that I don't add to my SRS. There's a ton of words that I skip over when casually reading.

I only add words that I want to remember for later on. I may learn more if I added all of them, but for a lot of words, if I don't find them necessary, I won't add them.

edit: I don't watch the Simpsons, so I'm sorry, but I don't know what Simpsons-like territory is...
