Alternatives to nciku's handwritten character lookup?

#1
The handwritten character lookup at http://www.nciku.com/ appears to be busted at the moment. This has been my method for finding (the "digital version" of) obscure characters, to cut and paste, and add to my SRS. Does anyone know of an alternative handwritten-character lookup?

TIA!

Just use an alternative lookup method. Handwriting is the slowest and least accurate.

I personally use the "parts" lookup method in Kanjigen. Many KANJIDIC parsers support a similar method using KRADFILE.

What exactly is Kanjigen? And does it list rare characters like

奻, 尣, 尞, 忩, 埶, 坴, 圥, 兂

? (This is the type of character I use nciku's handwriting recognition for. I have not found anything better, but I'm open to suggestions.)
