Over the past three weeks I haven't been studying as much as I would have liked due to impending finals, but with that now cleared, I feel that I can devote myself to Remembering the Kanji.

Dr. Hellsing Wrote:I was convinced that proficiency in writing the kanji could be attained in four to six weeks if one were to make a full-time job of it....Still, my own experience with studying the kanji and the relatively small number of individuals I have directed in the methods of this book, bears that estimate out, and I do not hesitate to repeat it here. While I would to like consume at least 60 kanji daily (thus allowing me to complete both RtK vol. I and vol. III in little over a month from now), I'm interested in the actual practicality of this, as inserting that many flashcards into the system would probably cause a massive build-up of reviews (since I began the book 50 days ago, I have only averaged 19 kanji a day and reviews have still been quite numerous), but I do know that at least one person here had completed the whole of RtK vol. I within four to six weeks.

I give myself another 1.5 months to familiarise myself with them and then a few more months should suffice for learning them properly...
