I know a ton of sites that have western film scripts in english but can you get hold of japanese movie scripts written in japanese??? This would help out when watching films/dramas and trying to find out what they said for studying later on. I know their are subs on some japanese films but that requires pausing and copying the kanji down as it is on screen etc... a script would be a lot faster to work with plus it would make good reading practice.
Are there any workarounds? Can you get hold of dvd japanese subtitles and just copy them into word.

DUDE, that would be sweet. What about video games, though? Would that be okay, too?
I know there are Japanese scripts for a couple of the Final Fantasy games online, FF7 at least (of course, I can't find them right now... but they're out there). Plus, if you don't mind playing old games, I know you can find ROMs for old Japanese SNES games to play on a SNES emulator. Things like Chrono Trigger and old FF titles and whatnot. Games will most likely have a bunch of special words that don't come up very often in regular life, but you can usually take your time reading the character dialogues in most ancient-a$$ games, so presumably you could figure out what was going on easily enough. *shrug*
Not sure if you're into video games or what, but playing emulated games from the 80's in Japanese sounds like a sweet way to practice to me. *grin*
If people know of any places to find Japanese scripts for video games or whatever, please post them.

There is a site for scripts to Japanese drama. But it's in Japanese and I can't remember what the site is. I think it was listed somewhere in the d-addicts forums, but I'm not too sure.

There are plenty of programs out there that allow you to rip the various files (including the subtitile files) out of a dvd. I've never done it but I don't see why you couldn't, say, rip out a subtitle file and export it to a text file, somehow.

Resurrecting the thread.
are dramanote.seesaa.net and dramanote.com the only sites with the jdrama scripts?
They are a little hard to navigate, and I can't find the drama I'm looking for ("Stand Up!!"). Does anybody know of better sites for this purpose?

I've had luck finding scripts for a decent number of Ghibli movies. Try searching for the movie title (in Japanese) along with 全セリフ or 全セリフ集 on Google. (Google seems to be good at searching for セリフ, せりふ and 台詞 at the same time, so it doesn't matter which one you put in your query.)
