Yep. Can definitely vouch for this. I've had it since it came out and am loving it. Can rewatch things, turn subtitles on and off, and switch language tracks (for English movies for example). If I was still commuting by train every day, I would pick up a PSP just for the ability to watch everything on the go!

I completely forgot about how you can transfer movies to the PSP. I'm going to try it right now, and I'll update if subtitles work on it later.
Edit: Works like a charm. It took a little while to transfer over (15 minutes for a 30 minute TV program). When you copy over you select which audio/subtitles you want (you can only have one). Using the default settings it's 250 meg for the 30 minute TV show.
I'm pulling my PSP out of retirement... Too bad I couldn't transfer it to my iphone. I have one of the first 1000 PSPs from Japan when it first came out, so the psp go seems a lot better all of a sudden.
