I just saw on LibraryThing that this week-end there is a Read-a-Thon. It's basically a silly internet thing where people read as much possible for 24 hours and blog about it and post comments and stuff (I'm not too clear on some of the details but that's the gist of it).

So I thought it would be interesting if we used that time to read but in Japanese off course. If anybody is interested, we could use this thread to post updates about what we are reading and how it's going. The 24 hour period starts tomorrow Saturday, April 10th at Noon GMT

Off course, you don't have to do the whole 24h. (I certainly won't, I need my sleep)

Ok, well, apparently nobody is interested. too bad. Anyway it starts right now, and I have set up a blog to post my updates. So I probably won't post here since it'd be silly to be the only one posting updates.

I'm too flighty to do any 1 thing for more than about 20 minutes. I read all the time, though, so I'm participating in spirit.

24 hours? Sweet, if I really buckle down, that should be almost enough time to get through a single page of anything in Japanese. If only I had a blog. You guys would be riveted, believe me.
