Where can I find RTK Lite?

#1
Hello, I am reccomending a list of books for a friend and I couldn't find the shorter version of the book. She pretty much hates kanji so I thought I would recomend a "less intense" book hoping that she would grow to think otherwise.

What else would you reccomend for the non-hardcore Japanese student?
I got:

Smartfm
Lang-8
Heisig/koohi
Tae Kim
Jisho.org

It's a bit overkill, but you could download the kore series:
http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=5091
and then follow the order given in Rtk Lite.

Still searching though. If I find it, I'll update this post

Awesome, I'll definitely use that but.... I don't think my friend would use something like that. ^__^

Alright, found the original post about it:
http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?tid=993&page=1
But go here:
http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...8#pid80718
It's a compilation of all the kanji needed

I didn't read the whole thread, because it's long, but basically:
It's the 1023+more kanji needed to pass JLPT 2 (and then some)

However, since you don't need greasemonkey to add whatever kanji you want, you can just copy/paste the list of needed kanji into the kanji to add

There's a list by Katsuo (?) on page 2. Look for the big wall of text.
If you want to use something other than RevTK, you'll have to use that list manually.

I could be wrong, though. It's a long thread...

From the very beginning of the very first post. ;p

"**Edit - Since it's a long thread, Post 30 and 31 has the list of "Kanji Lite" which are the JLPT2 Kanji and the 92 supporting Kanji. Post 183 on Page 8 combines these into the actual RTK Lite list. There's also a RTK Lite list based off of the 1110 Kanji in 2001KO Books 1 and 2 discussed later in the thread. "

I recommend that last bit.

Here: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...7#pid64047 and on the next cpl pages ending up with: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...8#pid68758 and followed up with: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...9#pid73809

But of course, once you have the 'alter sequence' script, the rest is moot. ^_^
