Where can I find a free download of a decent looking 教科書 font?

If it makes a difference, I'm on a mac.

Thanks!

There's one on this page (look for EPSON 教科書体M). It works ok on my Mac, just Font Book mangles the Japanese characters in its name for some reason.

Thanks for the link, but after I download the .exe file, what exactly do I have to do to start using it?

One way: Use an archive program to unarchive it, as if it were a zip/rar file. You might need to change the extention to zip or something if it doesn't work without it.

As Bokusenou says, use an unarchiver. "Stuffit Expander" opens it on my Mac. You then get a folder containing seven fonts; just double-click on any of them and Font Book will ask if you want to install it. The 教科書 font is presumably the one titled "epkyouka.ttf".
