yorkii,
Yeah, I'm sold on Stackz. I've been playing with the demo version and it is pretty slick. I tried using Super Memo, but it was impossible.
I was just wondering if you like the way Stackz handles the cards you get right/wrong or do you like the Lietner system

If anyone wants advice about how to use Supermemo then I'm happy to give it. It can be pretty frustrating to begin with.

hey yorki, can you help me out, i too bought stacks for the pda and tried registring for the forum there but still waiting for authorisation. Can tell me if its possible to view only the cards that have expired and need testing in stackz. For example when i select the 3rd column box it will have cards which have expired (bright orange) and cards which were tested recently (some other colour). When i select test though it tests me all the cards, not just the orange ones but the ones i may have reviewed just yesterday. Thats no good for me.
Also is there someway to tell it to save the file automatically...im fed up of forgetting to select save then return home to find that the pda ran out of juice and ive lost that days learning.

i run it on my PC.
it shows you all the "too review" (orange) cards first though right. just stop reviewing when you hit a black (or other coloured) card. thats what I do anyway.
as for the auto save thing, I'm not sure. I always have to hit the save button too. with the PC version, when i try to leave the program without saving, it prompts me to save. (YES // NO dialogue)

hmm when im on the pda version and testing myself on the cards it doesnt show you what color the current card is. I have to switch to a different view mode so you can imagaine constantly switching back and forth between views to be annoying. I dont know why they just made a view mode to accomplish this.
