Top 500 Japanese Names

#1
So I created an Anki Deck for the top 500 Japanese Names.

Actually, the deck has 600+ names since some names
have multiple readings.

Here's the link:

I will upload this as a shared Anki deck later today.
Maybe I'll add some more names.

That's actually a really smart thing! Great work =)
But man.. That would be just way too boring to study, at least for me. I might eat my words and cram that thing after a while, so please upload it as a shared Anki deck!

Thanks.

I like to read the names of J-Drama actors on http://wiki.d-addicts.com

500 isn't such a huge number (especially when compared to the 2042 kanji in RTK1).
So you could literally train yourself to read most of the names you're
likely to encounter.

I think a good idea might be add people with the same name to each card (celebrities, friends, etc). So I might end up making the shared deck editable by all users.

Just uploaded the shared deck to Anki.

Just type "Japanese Names" and you should see it.

Yes, that's the one.

Although, I don't know why it says that it was uploaded 2 days ago.
I just uploaded it a few minutes ago.

Enjoy.

A lot of them are related to college classes, though...
