A Couple Of Questions About RTK Lite

#1
I have been stuck at about 700 kanji for about a month and a half. I just don't have the time to finish Remember the kanji in a reasonable amount of time. Although I have been stuck on 700 I have kept up with my reviews. I am off of work for a week and I think I can learn the rest of the kanji necessary for RTKLite.

Is this the correct path of RTKLite? RTKLite-->Tae Kim--Kanji Odyssey 2001--->????

Also if I do RTKLite how many kanji will I need to learn to recognize all of the kanji in Kanji odyssey 2001?

Is the costcom site the only place I can buy KO2001 online?

Also should I buy the book version of KO2001 or the e-book version?

It's not the "correct" path, it's just a path that can get you started.

For RTK Lite there's no real need for that term anymore. This site now lets users enter batches of their own kanji. Before, there had to be a script you loaded thene you entered the kanji you wanted to learn. Now it's a small matter of adding all the 1110 kanji from KO2001. Those can be found by going to Group Projects page on the Google Documents sticky thread. You can then add any additional kanji that helps you learn them in RTK order.

For the book, it's only sold by Coscom though it's your call which you prefer for the e-book or regular book.

I would recommend the book version. I love mine and make notes in it, but I also have an anki deck with sound which is very important too.

Ok I found the google document. Do I add every kanji individually? Or is there an easier way to do it.

I think I am going to get the book version. I prefer studying from a book then from a screen.

Why don't you do both at the same time? Study KO while going light on RTK, adding 20 kanji every couple of days. I've started studying Japanese while going through RTK, it definitely helps keep your motivation up. If you can find time to study KO, you can study RTK!
