My Freshman year of high-school I took a year of Japanese.
In my current school there is no other language except for Spanish. (We might get Chinese next year) So I need one more year of foreign language study. Well my school can take credit from CITA and NAAS. Does the JLPT count for this? (I checked the official website but I couldn't find anything.) If the JLPT doesn't support these organizations is there a different test I can take?

Thank you so much!

Only other thing i can think of would be just self studying for the AP test and taking that. Is this language credit a required graduation requirement by the way?

If it's high school credit for graduation, you should be talking to the school counselor or principal, not the internet.

If it's for credit for your university, you should be asking them personally.

I imagine that they require the actual class so that native speakers don't get free credit for taking a language test for something they already know.

I do and try to contact my advisor but it takes over a week to contact her and she just gives me names of organizations.Just like everything in my school I have to be the one researching everything. But I really appreciate the feedback!

This is a required credit and she recommends it be in the same language as last year, Japanese. I will take the JLPT test at the end of this year anyways for when I enter college but I was hoping it would count for High-school.

Thank you
