I am wondering whether to get a DS or Ipod Touch for reviewing anki decks offline. Since I will be using Core2000 and other decks with audio media, I will need to have support for it.

From the looks of it, it would seem that only Anki Mini has support for media. I cant find a firm claim for the others like Anki DS Sync or IAnki.

Basically, I am trying to decide which platform to get and cant decide between the DS, being larger but supporting a lot of games - and possibly no audio media support, and the Ipod Touch, which has no games but it looks like audio media support.

The iPod Touch has plenty of games.

iPod Touch doesn't quite have games like the DS. DS has an awesome array of titles to help with Japanese studies and aside from that has great games to be played in Japanese.
