Sorry for the inconvenience. What really sparked my interest for actually asking this question was when I was browsing a list of 5-mic LPs from a magazine called the "THE SOURCE". There, I found some of what seemed to be the best hip-hop LPs in American Hip-hop. Then I thought Japan might have some sort of list, too, which, according to the individual, should represent what one thinks to be the best full-length LPs Japan has to offer on their front in the hip-hop game.

EDIT: I guess you can add EPs if you want, but compilations aren't fair at all. If so, I'd have to alter my list.

Hey, I was wondering if any underground hip-hop fans would like to help put some cash up to help buy some of these new underground hip-hop CDs that aren't getting much attention. BOBO THE TRIMMER's album (also see 3 posts up) on amazon.jp is only ￥ 1,890, but I figured even if there were a few people who were interested in pitching in a few bucks, we could have enough to get the album and put it on the blog. I'm still not sure how it would all work, but that can be discussed if there is even an interest to begin with. Of course, if there's any other albums out there you guys think are worth getting, please let them be known.

Soundtrack to the Bed Town is the greatest Japanese hip-hop album of all time. Instant classic. Straight up. I've added every track on it to my jrap playlist, save Real Lives.

No other album has been this consistently high-quality. What gets me was the fact that this was released 4 months ago, yet sounds like it was recorded from 1994 to 1997 on an SP1200. Even Buckshot (the BDI) gives them props in the outro.

But yeah, they kinda remind me of Soul Scream. Not so much the flows, but definitely the sound though it is unique.

I saw the opportunity to support a good artist and hopefully encourage more stuff to be bought to the US store.

Also want to note that since downloading, I've listened to the full album almost 3 times. Fantastic. I love their wordplay and beats. Flow is pretty sweet too

To tell you the truth, I would have never known if you hadn't said anything.

I'll re-upload the other ones soon, but I'll have to re-rip them since I've been re-uploading a lot of my purchased albums from VBR to 320k. Nevertheless, 餓鬼レンジャー is back up for now.
