Hey Nestor, any interest in trading my 1 rude boy
Shamano for your 1 rude boy
Tobberoth? (I think I'd like to keep my nemesis Daizumi - growing fond of him.)

Daizumi Wrote:I have to close my eyes and start with the keyword, and see what pops up.
This really works, doesn't it. Try to align what pops into your head with the intended keyword meaning though. I had to fix some associations later b/c I had used the wrong sense of the word.

拾う is also used in the sense of picking something up and taking it home: 犬を拾ってきた haha

I wouldn't be too concerned about the reporting button. It isn't a tool to label users as perverts or racists. You can see there have been several discussions about it. The result is a kind of compromise.
*There is a filtering script available that automatically hides reported stories. So it's possible that some folks are marking stories so that those who have expressed a wish to avoid sex and violence can do so. (Learning with kids, etc.)
*People can email Fabrice if something is particularly egregious. I'm not sure we need an auto hide function.
*People can view and adjust their reported stories. I don't fix mine anymore.
Also, try to keep some perspective. Many of the stories in the shakuhachi examples involved fellatio, but only a few were reported. And some could easily have been reported for other reasons. It's a bit random.
For the most part, I think people exercise judgment as to which stories to make public and how to word them. Sex is kind of universal, so the issue is more about tact. Racist content, however, is harder to justify. Admittedly, it isn't always easy to agree on what constitutes a harmful stereotype, but I think it's enough if folks just err on the side of caution. People will survive without that one story. :-)
