I grabbed some stuff off Smart.fm about a week ago without any problems but now I get an error as soon as it begins the import process. I haven't changed anything so I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

I ran into the same ‘unknown error’ when attempting to import JR山手線 into my main. A way around it is to start a new deck, import them with the plugin (for some reason it works with new decks), and then export all of those words into whichever deck you wanted them to go in.

I got it working but it is still weird. I wanted to make a new deck to test out a few things. If I create a new deck using the "create" button on the summary page it won't let me import into that deck, but if a I create a new deck using the "New" button in the file menu it will. I don't know what the difference is between the two decks but whatever lol.

i'm having problems getting the plug in to work. i notice it says in the guide to give them a url of the 'list' but i can't find 'lists' only 'goals' on smart.fm so i guess they're the same thing? but when i put in my goal url, http://smart.fm/goals/47378, and try to import it i get an error immediately saying it can't reach smart.fm and it'll open a browser that takes me to a smart.fm page with a bunch of code in it

bump. i still cant get it to work. can anyone else get it to work? i notice that the example url in the plug in is different than the kinds i can find on smart.fm so it seems like its outdated

I use the same method with much success. it is a bit of a pain, but you can always combine your decks after the fact.

How can I import from smart fm to Anki?

Use Anki to download the shared plugin smart.fm importer, then once it's installed select the import tool from the plugins menu and just follow the instructions shown.

I have a problem more related to ANKI, maybe someone can explain to dummy me? =/
I used the importer for KO2001 and after severel errors now have a deck with cards which are labelled "Reading". Now the question is supposed to show just the expression (Sentence), Audio and meaning should be on the back. But when I test it, I hear the audio first while seeing the expression!
I dont get it!
