Priority after RthK 1

#1
I have been done with RthK for about 7 months or so. So just now I opened up Anki to do my daily reviews and I had two decks to open. One being my Kanji deck and the other being my Japanese words/sentences deck. So I thought is it more a priority to review the Japanese sentence deck first over the kanji deck. I know that seems like a dumb question/thought. Usually once I review for the day I get burned out and don't want to review for the remainder of the day. I will usually just review kanji but then relize that I am too burned out to review my Japanese deck. I just wanted to get some input from others who might have been in the same situation at one time. So I have just decided to make my Japanese deck a priority over my Kanji deck, but man those kanji reviews are stacking up. >_>

If you can't do both in a day, you should stop adding cards, it's not good to procrastinate reviews.

That said, my priorities are:
1. Vocab deck (fast as hell and has my most recent stuff in it)
2. Sentence deck
3. RtK deck

If any deck can wait, it's the RtK one since I haven't added anything to it in a long time so what I will miss in a review, I would probably have missed a day or two earlier as well.

I think it's a good idea to make your Japanese deck your priority. Some people stop reviewing their RTK decks eventually, so if you're getting too burned out by your kanji reviews, you could maybe consider doing that. (See this thread for a discussion of the pros and cons of doing this.) You could also choose to review your RTK deck less frequently, like maybe once or twice a week, and focus mainly on your Japanese deck.

Yea my reviews personally are going up. My sentence deck has reached 5700. And nowadays my reviews are like 330+ 450+. And sometimes 550 nowadays. For me i just need an hour or so to finish all these reviews. My other decks such as kanji ones, etc. I can easily do in 20mins. Since i'm mid-way into japanese right now. I've started to pick up the pace. By adding extra decks from smart.fm such as Icore6000. For more sentences. As i can handle the extra work. The kanji i think should be done, but not as a priority deck. Sentences+vocab i'd say keep going with those.

before anki had the option to to have multiple decks, most people just mixed the two.
