Lots (most) of them have never posted in the forums though. I'd've thought more people would, if they were using the site for any reasonable amount of time...

There are around 1400 people who reviewed in the last 30 days... Half of those have not reviewed in the last week. Of course there are some people who use anki instead.

The 20000+ number is because there is no clean up of stale accounts... something I should really do soon..

If you look at the active members list (which is only people reviewing a flashcard and not people who read or edit in the Study area), you'll see from say, the top 500 active users, most of them you have never seen posting here. Another hint is that many make their 1st post in the "I've finished RTK please congratulate me" topic. Many many more most likely never finish the book
