YouTube resumes playback from my bookmarks

Anybody notice that? It's really awesome when you're watching a Google Tech Talk or something like that on YouTube that lasts half an hour or more. When I click the bookmark the page loads and the video resumes where I last left!

I suppose it's in the cookie? It doesn't work reliably for me, I'd like to understand what makes it "remember". Any idea?

I also noted that someone managed to write a link in the YouTube comments to a particular point in a video. The page info looked like so: <a href="#" onclick="yt.www.watch.player.seekTo(1*60+33);return false;">1:33</a>

I guess that's more relevant to my wanting 'interactive transcripts' (http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...6#pid83986)...
