Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for reading manga on the iPhone?

Cheers.

I've got a few comics which are standalone apps themselves (so each also includes a barebones ebook reader behind the scenes). There's a list of NTT solmare's ones available at:

http://www.nttsolmare.com/jp/appstore/

and on the itunes store itself, they've got a Cyborg 009 one for free to get you started:

サイボーグ009(ダイジェスト版)/石ノ森章太郎

They're pretty good, the only gripe being that any touch moves the comic forwards (to go back, you have to drag a slider of all frames rather than swipe backwards on the screen), and great for any commute.

I tried a few and for me the best was Comic Reader Mobi. No need to convert my .cbr-files and the text-zoom-feature makes it possible to read the text while seeing the whole page.

Feels like the screen would be WAY too small to use for comics, you would have to zoom in so much that you can't appreciate the artwork.
