Non-Japanese Blu-ray movies with Japanese dub tracks

#1
Since there's already a thread for non-Japanese PS3 games with Japanese games on them as well, I figured this thread needed to be started.

I currently only know of one, but I'm hoping others will be nice enough to point out other movies with them as well.

And the one currently known is:

Serenity

I hope others can help out with this search, as we all know non-Japanese media is by far less expensive!

You should probably define 'non-Japanese'. The Japan release of Harry Potter includes dubs, as well as subs in many languages.

He did define it: Stuff you don't have to buy from Japan, because Japan has outrageous prices for media.

Right, the point of this thread is to identify blu-rays that are NOT the Japanese versions that happen to have the Japanese dub track on them.

I would have put "American blu-rays" but that leaves out our European/Canadian/etc friends. However, as America and Japan share a blu-ray region, I think it might be more common to find American blu-rays with Japanese dub tracks.

I love Serenity/firefly, too bad the Firefly bluray doesn't have it.

On amazon Harry Potter 2-5 have a Japanese dub. The newest one and the first one did not, from what i saw, although i didn't look too hard

Great news! Thank you!

I was going to buy the Harry Potters in Japanese after I saw 6 didn't have any Japanese dub on it (the American version), but now you just saved me from buying 2-5 from a Japanese website needlessly!

Batman Begins -

But not The Dark Knight...

OT: Space Balls is dubbed in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Castillian, and Hungarian. lol

Many of the most obvious movies that should have a Japanese dub don't. I'll post more if I find any. Of course, I'm just looking on Amazon, there could be other American versions.

Is there any way to search sites by languages the movie is in? It's seems like a big pain to go through all the movies on Amazon looking for whether or not they have Japanese dubs, huh?

Oh man. That thought made me hit the motherload.

Have fun Big Grin

Edit: I don't see Harry Potter on that list, so it probably isn't complete... Not sure how that's possible, though.

Edit2: When I went right to HP on that site, it doesn't say HP has Japanese audio. That's why it doesn't show.

Here's the equivalent Amazon search:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_a...Submit.y=6

Edit: I've already found some that come up on this search that don't have Japanese in the description under Languages, so be sure to check before you order. I don't know if that means the description or the search is wrong, either.
