You mention Sazh being reluctant. If she thought he might not fight, then saying something like だったらそこで見てろ ([if you won't fight] then stay there and watch) would work.
I guess I just can't see "[look] at that" from そこで instead of something like それを (and それを見ろ, since to me 見ていろ sounds like continuing to do something than just looking at it and then fighting). But I won't be seeing the scene until tomorrow, so I don't really know.
