Looking for a Good Monolingual Japanese Word Processor

#1
I've been looking for a good Japanese word processor recently. Mostly because I want to edit the layouts and font sizes of some ebooks that I've gotten off of aozora. I still can't find any way of changing the font size of *all* the ruby text in a document using MS Word. It's really been a pain in the butt for me because I want to print off some reading material but the whole layout is mangled due to giant furigana. If anyone has any experience in this area please feel free to share. It's been a real thorn in my side, and I might not be alone in this. I'm sure someone else has come across this problem before.

Sorry to double post, but I finally figured out a solution in MS Word for fixing the font size of the ruby text (furigana) for an entire document no matter how long it is.

Hit Alt+F9, this brings up all of the field codes for the entire document.
The field codes that appear in place of Japanese text with furigana should look very similar to this:

{EQ \* jc1 \* "Font:MS Mincho" \* hps12 \o\ad(\s\up 11(いきおい),勢)}

jc1 = I have no clue what this is.

"Font:MS Mincho" = The font of the furigana text

hps12 = half point size of furigana text いきおい (in this case we have a half pt size of 12 which makes the font size 6 pt)

up = furigana placement is on top or right of the main text, changing this to "do" (down) will put the furigana below or to the left of the text depending on whether or not you have set up a 縦書き layout.

11= font size in points of the main text 勢

The \o, ad(), and \s are all still a mystery to me, since I don't know all that much about field codes. I'll have to make another post when I find out. I do know that one has to be the aligment of the furigana text in relation to the main text, of which there are several options to choose from. You'll see them in a dropdown list if you select some text with furigana and go to Format > Asian Layout > Phonetic Guide.

If you want to change any of these setting for the entire document just use find/replace:

Hit Ctrl+F, go to the Replace tab.
In the Find field type hps* (where * is the current furigana font size in half points) or any other setting you want to change.
In the Replace field type hps# (where # is the font size in half points that you want to make all of your furigana.
Then hit the Replace All button.
Hit Alt+F9 again to turn all the field codes into actual text. Whatever setting(s) you've change should now be reflected in the text.

You all probably already know how to use find/replace but meh, there just might be someone who's never used it before.
