this thread was originally intended for people to share there results of the JLPT, not to quibble over the usefulness of it...

Where can you pick up a practice test with answer sheets? I checked the website and they give you like a couple problems from the previous tests and thats it

http://www.thejapanshop.com sells the official test reprints, complete with CDs and everything. I've been shopping there for awhile, and I like their service and prices. Plus, it's always nice to support the little guy when possible.

In a word - yes.

If it's good enough to be on NTT's homepage then it's good enough to be in the JLPT.

Try not to assume that a Japanese word and its English translation are exactly equivalent. You'll save yourself a lot of unhappiness.
So what is a Japanese telegram then?
