I've watched some anime on my ds, and the quality is about the same as you might see on youtube--not great but watchable. However it can be very difficult to read subtitles. If you are watching without subtitles that shouldn't be a problem.

When it comes to the Toptoy DSTT card, I'm afraid to say that I am not an expert. However, I do have a friend who is an expert on these kinds of cards so if you are not in a rush, I could ask him tomorrow. His ordeal is better than that of professional review sites, I can tell you that .

The N-Card I have is: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3315 . I can fully recommend it. However, I do not know whether it can play anime or not. I'll have to get my DS in a bit and find out .

Whatever card you get, let it be a 2 GB one. You will need it.

<edit> The N-card range of cards can play video, music and view pictures through the Moonshell application. Though I'd like to add that, during my first and thus far only test of watching anime I noticed that the video lagged quite a bit. A huge downside for if you want to thoroughly enjoy a movie. However, I will experiment with a variety of options to improve and / or lower the quality of video-files whilst converting them and see if it makes a difference. Has anyone else experienced the same problem so far?

I wouldn't really recommend it. The font is sorta hard to tell exactly how some of the strokes go.

So I lost time for RTK, just started up again and finally figured out how to make flash cards for this old ds app, I love it. Really comes in handy to have portable srs solution like this, really helps me.
