i just ran across this kanji dic site tonight http://tangorin.com/ it's really sweet because you can put any kanji in and search for it including really rare kanji outside of the jouyou list and it brings up a lot of compounds that have that kanji in it

Same old KANJIDIC/EDICT/etc stuff. Not really any different from any other parsers aside from having a more visually appealing design than average.

As far as EDICT dictionaries, tangorin is by far my favorite. Great design, and easy to use.
