I have been tyring to remove cards (between 1-800) but I haven't figured it out.
After I select the cards what do I do to remove them?

Do you mean removing the first 800 cards from the deck or a specific number of 800?

I want to remove "a specific number of cards".

Go to 'manage'. Then 'remove cards custom selection'. Enter the index numbers of the ones you want removed i.e. to remove 5 specific cards enter:

1,5,224,300,7

Then click remove flash cards button. It will then show the kanji to be removed with one more button that says remove flashcards. Click it and those specific cards will be removed. (This is a lot easier than highlighting each card using remove from list option.) If you type up the card numbers in a text editor like notepad and save it, then cut and paste them into the form, you can keep all the cards you remove to re-add when/if you decide to put them back in.

@gyuujuice: if you actually want to remove frame number 1 to 800 then Manage > Remoce Cards > Custom selection, enter "1-800" (a number range). There is always a confirmation step so don't be afraid to experiment.
