Hello,

I just have a quick question, I'm thinking of getting a rather cheap iphone but it's not the newer 3g ones. As one of the main reasons I want one is because I want to be able to access this site when I'm not in a wifi zone I was wonder how fast or slow this site loads when using edge?

I've heard mix responses about speeds using edge on the iPhone so if I'm planning to study 30 kanji and it takes 1 min to load each page that's already 30min just waiting for pages to load (granted I could be practicing the previous Kanji as the next page loads) but not very good if I'm doing reviews of 100+

Just so you know I'll be using it in the UK so speeds may be very different to those who use edge in other countries.

Bit of a late reply, but if it's still useful...

I use an iPhone on Edge all the time. When you open the review page it'll take a few seconds to load initially, but cards then cache in the background several at a time, and clicking through them is very speedy. It works great!

Fabrice has really put some thought into this with the new site!! Great job!

The study pages are still a bit laggy over Edge, but I believe Fabrice is working on this too.
