Hi,
I haven't been here for a long time, first of all kudos on the new site.
I recently got this sweet phone, it's not ultra-high-end, but it's got nice big touchscreen, so I feel motivated to use it as much as possible. Anyway, I got a java-based dictionary (called Suiteki) and it's pretty good, it's got JP->EN, EN->JP dictionary, input in romaji, kana, kanji, kanji lookup, even manga viewer (that one I don't use), which got me thinking: how about a kanji flashcard program for my cellphone? Or better yet, how about a Heisig flashcard program?
You see, about once every 6 to 9 months I start slacking off, my expired/failed kanji list starts growing, until I finally give up and don't show up at the site for several months. I'm in such situation myself, with about 1630 expired flashcards (*cries*) and being able to review 'wherever, whenever' would help me tackle this.
The question is, do you use or know of any good flashcard applications for cellphones? The application must be Java based, no Windows Mobile, no .NET
Or does this site have cell phone support? If so, is it any good? Can anyone share their experience with it?
It matters to me, because if I decide to start using it, I'll need to upgrade my program for better internet access/data transfer conditions with my mobile operator, and pay extra 6 euros a month. It's not much, but if I'm not gonna use it, it's just wasted money.
Onegaishimasu ^_^
