So, I finished up RTK back in May, but looking back, I really rushed near the end. I have a very thin grasp on those final 500 or so kanji.
My girlfriend is also learning Japanese, and I told her I was thinking about start over with the kanji, so she's going on the journey with me this time. Since I've already done it once, I'm doing sentences and immersing, I'm going to take it really easy this time. The only rule is that I add at least 1 kanji per day (same for the 彼女).
Anybody else taken the long journey twice? I think I can really reflect on the last time and see where I made mistakes (rushing the process, especially near the end... adding stories to the question card because khatz recommended it [these are the kanji i totally don't remember... at all]... letting myself get stressed out over something as fun and as beautiful as kanji).
I'm kind of excited
How have you two-time-learners found the 2nd round to be?
P.S. I considered doing Japanese keywords, but I tried it and it feels like learning vocabulary out of context to me too much. I couldn't handle it...
