Does anyone know a good website for song lyrics that doesn't disable Copy and Paste? It's really annoying and I don't feel like drawing out every kanji in the IME Pad.

Thanks

If you want to even do away with any manual typing, copying and pasting at all, I recommend using Lyrics Master. I stumbled across this piece of software last year, and it works great. What it is is a program that works with your iTunes player. You play a song in your iTunes, and it searches for the lyrics (automatically) of the song (from sites like the one IceCream gives and more) for you and automatically stores the song lyric into the lyrics category of each individual song in iTunes. It even gives you a text version for each song in case you want to read it without going into the lyrics section of songs in iTunes. It's also user friendly with search engines to help you find individual songs (although I find it works VERY good with full albums as it automatically shifts to the next song on the album as soon as it finds a lyric to a previous song). Also, the names to your song have to be properly titled for this to be effective. (Ex. If a song is originally named 運命共同体, then the song will probably only come up if it is typed that way (in other words, no romaji would work. The same goes for artists names, too.) If you rip your own CD's, then you shouldn't have a problem with it, though. In a worse case scenario, you can always look up the correct names of song titles, album names in japanese wiki if need be. You shouldn't have much of a problem finding lyrics unless the music is extremely old, or obscure.

Anyways, check it out here and let me know what you think of it. (By the way, this program is in Japanese).

This sounds absolutely fantastic! I'm downloading it right now! I love putting in the lyrics in iTunes, but I hate searching and copy and pasting them all. I also hope this thing will be able to find lyrics for Seeda. I can't find his lyrics anywhere... it's really rather frustrating.

However, you seem to like hip-hop (with a name like KREVA), so do you have to know where one can get lyrics for seeda?

Or you could install NoScript for Firefox and completely disable the code that doesn't allow you right click or copy and paste. Or just turn off JavaScript in whatever browser you use but I prefer NoScript for many more things Big Grin

Ryuujin27, I think you might be able to find some lyrics for SEEDA, but I doubt you will be able to find many as they are hard to come about even while searching freely on the net. I own one of SEEDA's CD's that came with the lyrics for the CD, but other than that, I don't know of any place to get lyrics for the majority of this songs. I had been wanting to transcribe the lyrics for that CD I own for a while, but it rarely crosses my mind.

Which album of his do you have? I would be eternally grateful to the person that could give me the lyrics to his 花と雨 album!

I have SEEDA's 街風 album. Still waiting for a good deal to buy 花と雨 as that is seemingly the only way to get the lyrics.

Ah, 街風 is also an excellent album. Well, pretty much all his stuff is superb.

I was thinking that when I get back to Japan I was going to just go to TSUTAYA and borrow the CDs and hopefully the booklets come with them (not sure about this, only ever borrowed video games). Then I can transcribe them and return 'em.
