Anyone know what you have to do (besides be lucky) to be able to give invitations? Is there a certain user profile that they are looking for? I'd love help some others out if I could, but I don't have any invitations as of yet..

The fact that that you only have 1 post and you signed up today make you very suspicious. Also looking at your profile you haven't added any cards or done any reviews.

I want to send invites to people who use the forum, not someone who found this page on google and only signed up to get an invite. Do some kanji or post some more and ask again =)

Some advice in case there aren't any more invites to go around:

I tried to get my friends to join, but I don't have invites. So they went and applied for an invitation on the site. Those that just put in their email address never heard back. But those that filled out the form completely, including the demographic information and why they wanted to use it, etc. all received their invites from Google within a week.

You just have to wait a few weeks and you'll get a wave in your inbox that lets you invite people. Since it's still preview software Google is adding people to it slowly.
