Just today Smart.fm released a major site update, and unfortunately it rendered Anki's "Smart.fm import" plugin. I hope someone updates the plugin soon... Is there any workaround that you know?

crap! that sucks big time! i'm glad i just imported all the Ko2001 words into an Anki file last month... if someone knows the creator of the plug-in an update would be real nice

I have spent all morning trying to figure out how to edit lists. When I first joined iknow, it took me a week to figure out how to do things through trial and error. It appears that is the way things are going to be done again. There never has been and it seems there continues to be no user support or tutorials on how to use the site.

Calm down, calm down. The API still exists, so it's just a matter of fixing the plugin. I'm sure the author will get to it soon.

I know it's a matter of time, I just was asking because I'm almost certain that there has to be somebody here who has a copy of those decks.I lost all my Anki decks and just when I thought I was going to start srsing again, they updated (again) Smart.fm and rendered the plugin useless...

If you replace "goals" in the URL with "lists", you can still use the plugin. Though it is often non responsive for a few minutes after your first start importing, it will work if you give it time. However, I'm not entirely sure it is getting everything, especially the sentences. I just imported a list with about 900 sentences and only got about 50 of them. The vocab seems fine, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you open an empty deck and import smart.fm cards it works without any snags. Then you can merge your new deck with your old one.
