Ahahaha My brother pulled the backflip version of dyna-V. He totally nailed it and landed on the head. For those who don't know, this is backflip "dyna-V": http://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/..._id/69380/

And if you don't know, this is why the sliding thing is called 今井:

It's 技名 (わざめい), i.e., name of trick. Also, レッソン is レッスン, and フレーラン is フリーラン. つま先(かかと)に乗る is the get-on-the-edge transition you do when you turn. If you do it too much, you catch your edge and fall. These lines might be better translated this way:

今井から「つま先」に乗る -> Pull Imai and get on your toe edge
アプローチでの視線は? -> Where do you look when you make your approach?
常にリフトです。-> Of course the lift.
着地は無視していい! -> Landing? It doesn't matter!

Awesome! Made me laugh....

I am an avid rider.....I'm wondering about the bomb spots in Japan. I'm hoping when I move there I can locate near a sweet mountain. Any advise. Best powder/low crowds is a good measure for me. My uneducated guess would be that snowboarding in Japan might be a bit crowded and expensive, but I have no idea. In the US, in my experience, generally weekdays are good on crowds, and weekends and holidays are ridiculously crowded (I try to avoid going then). I also love good night life and lifts that are close to your living. Here in Denver there are world class resorts fairly close by, but still are 1 1/2 hours away and the traffic/road danger factor really can damage the experience....
