Where To Buy RTK 1 in Tokyo?

#1
Hello There,

I arrived in Japan 1 week ago, to do my master course, and right now I am at 1800 kanjis, but due to the whole moving procedure, and the fact that here at the student residence there are only 2 computers with internet (and they are occupied most of the time), I have been struggling to keep up with reviews, and I have forgotten maybe 60 to 80 kanjis in process.

before things get worse, I would like to buy RTK 1 here in Tokyo to study at my room, and finish this in one week. I can only buy a laptop and get a private internet connection in 3 weeks, so I do not want to worsen my review rate even more.

Please tell me an easy to find bookstore here in Tokyo where I can buy RTK 1 and Kanji Odissey?

Tokyo is huge -- where are you in Tokyo? Can you order it from amazon.co.jp? The shipping is really fast.

The new book stores in this thread usually stock RTK1.

ah, I live near Seijougakuenmae station, on the Odakyu line, sear shinjuku.

Just checked the link and yeah, Kinokuniya Bookstore seems to be in a good location. I will go there right now.
Thanks!

Kinokunia has two locations in shinjuku. One you just go out the East exit (kabukicho) and go right and walk 2 blocks. The other one take the south-east exit and cross the big cross walk. Follow the buildings by the tracks for a while and go past the Tokyu hands.

The Junkyudo in Ikebukuro is the most awesome *big* bookstore in Tokyo. I found my copy of RTK1 used at The Blue Parrot in Takadanobaba. The Blue Parrot is the most awesome *used English books only* store in Tokyo. Enjoy-

If you don't know, the shipping of amazon.co.jp is extremely fast. If you order stuff in the morning and pay extra $4 for express shipping, you can get it in the evening. If you're living in Tokyo, pretty much every usual stuff in stock is shipped next day for free, i.e., overnight shipping is default.

I'd recommend the Kinokuniya in Shinjuku. It's huge, and I know they had a decent amount of them left some time in late July.
