I'm currently a Electrical Engineering student in Canada, and I was wondering if there are any job opportunities in my field in Japan as a professional engineer in the near future, at least for foreigners in a mid-term contract. Does anyone here know if engineers must be licensed in Japan?

I doubt you'll be taken in as a graduate, but who knows. Experience matters a lot in engineering.
