Demonoid is down right now and rumored to be shut down by the CRIA (Canadian RIAA). It's rather unlikely since CRIA doesn't have much history of shutdowns, but who knows.

I would love to have an invite if anyone has one. If someone gives me one, I will use every invite I receive on my account to invite people from this forum. There are a lot of people that want them. =)

I've had the bitme.org registration link in my firefox bookmark toolbar for weeks, and I click it several times every day. Not once has registration ever opened.

So, yeah, I could use a bitme.org invite as well.

Oh, I can offer an Underground Gamer invite.

Bitspyder.org looks similar in concept, though also invite-only. Anyone have any experience with it?

It seems the rumors were true about the CRIA. While they are back online, they now block all access from Canadian IPs. I thought their servers were located in Canada so they must have relocated. This is what it shows to Canadian users:

"We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience."

I guess if I want to use it now I'll need to route my requests through a computer I control in Japan. I'm betting once you have the .torrent it works fine.
