Video game magazine scans

#1
Hi. I'm sure there are people on this board that like
Japanese video games. So why not learn Japanese
from reading video game magazines.

I found this great gaming news site called rpgland.com

What's different about this site is that they have weekly
scans of Japanese video game magazines. They do not
appear to be full magazine scans. But are scans
of some articles for hotly anticipated games.

It seems that the main text for each article has furigana
(sidebars and advertisements don't appear to have any).

Yeah, Famitsu scans would be awesome. Sometimes you can find a few pages, but not usually full magazines. The only full one's I ever found where GTA walkthrough issues on Perfect Dark =(

Ha, I managed to find a website for fashion magazines but no Games =(

the site has article scans from many of the big video game magazines (including the various Dengeki and Famitsu magazines). My impression is that they are magazine scans for any decent RPGs that they happen to find.

Only some of the scans there have the furigana... That's always been my problem with learning from magazines... All the interesting stuff is too high-level and doesn't cater to people who can't sight-read kanji.

Nice idea, though.

Anything from Jump will have furigana (and others, but Jump seems to be the most common you find online), but yeah, most actual game magazines don't.

Why are there no videogame scans out there of full magazines? Every fashion magazine it seems but no videogame mags. They must really crack down on ppl who put them online.
