It's a quick fix, but it bit me during the brief period I was trying to play it before I changed my system language. That's strange. I have the Japanese version and the only time it's hung so far is when I actually managed to beat the water beast early. The ps3 is my bro's so it's set to English, however my PSN language is Japanese. Maybe this had something to do with it?

My PS3 is a (formerly) 60GB first generation, which may also have something to do with it (it was also a bit over a year ago, so they may have fixed it with a firmware or game update).
Budget release is the one with the "the best" sticker, right?
mentat_kgs Wrote:What were you doing with the system language in English in the first place?I'd just gotten back from Japan, so I hadn't spent significant time with the system since I decided to self-immerse; more significantly, I was waiting to be able to swap out the hard drive for a larger one, since I didn't want any risk of data loss and was not at that point confident in my ability to avoid it in Japanese.

Sometimes it is hard with small characters, by is definitely feasible.Ah, well that's me out with my lack of a camera. Maybe there's some videos of people playing them on Niconico Douga for the dialogue.
