I'm planning to purchase a rice-cooker, but models you can find in Europe do not suit my taste (in terms of functionality and ergonomics) as good as the ones you can find in USA or Japan.
Would anoyone here live in Europe and use a US or Japanese electrical device such as rice-cooker? You need a 110v-200V adaptor, but I guess you also need a transformer for devices of high Watts. Some rice cookers have 1800 Watts...
Well, I'm a bit lost here and would not buy a $170 rice cooker just to know when it arrives that it cannot work in France/Europe...
