What was this method called?

#1
So, rather than reviewing my 1000+ due RTK deck, I decided to try this method I read about once (even if just to change things a bit) that was linked from here but... I can't recall what it's called.

For the most part, it's simply replacing the keyword with a common reading(s?) and SRSing as usual, but I can't stop feeling I'm missing something, I also recall the website had an anki deck made specifically for that method.

I just spent about an hour searching for this so, what was this called?

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like Japanese keyword for Kunyomi and Movie Method or Memory Palace for Onyomi.

There's a deck for Japanese keyword

I think you should push thru rather than start over. It takes time to go back thru again, the reviews add up quickly.

Alter your mature card multiplier to 0.1 so you don't have to totally fail mature cards. It will save a lot of reviews, just review the old deck.

Ahh, don't worry about it. You see... when I first did RTK I stopped practicing my writing about 1/4th of the way in (not efficient at all, I know, but I didn't want to go insane), so I thought about doing it properly this time. I'm also planning to take this lightly, only adding cards when I get bored doing other things).

Anyhow, I got the method wrong. It's substituting the English keyword for the Japanese one, in kana. No wonder it felt like I was missing something.
