Could it be said that the first 300 kanji of KO2001 are (roughly) the same kanji tested on 3-kyu?
I could compare witha list, but thought I would lazily ask the question first.

I doubt it. I'm almost up to 300 Kanji in KO2001 but I'm still having trouble with some vocab. I think its because the KO2001 order is different to what the JLPT order dictates.

irregardless, you have plenty of time to learn the readings of more than 300 kanji from now until December....
